1. Go to any TESDA Division Office. See the link for TESDA QC Division Office.
2. Submit your Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS). This was given to you during your TESDA National Certification Exam. It must indicate that you are "COMPETENT".
3. Bring 1 pc. picture (passport size, white background, neutral expression, with collar and the picture must be printed on a chemical-based photo paper)
4. You will be asked to wait for them to verify your records.
5. Your name will be called to pay the PhP 50 fee.
6. You will be asked to wait for them to print your certificate and put your picture on it.
7. Your name will be called for you to receive your National Certificate/Certificate of Competency along with the receipt of the PhP 50 fee. They will ask you to sign their logbook as well.
8. Before leaving TESDA Division Office, make sure that the information in your National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC) is correct.

If you have taken your NC starting middle of last year, you can just show your Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS) to a DHL branch near you (not all branch) and you will have to pay certain amount for your certificate to be delivered to your chosen address. You can also choose to pick-up your certificate from the DHL branch. Will post a separate article on that.

By the way, it's written on your certificate the expiration date. If the certificate is near expiry and you are about to go out of the country, you can ask for it to be renewed even before it expires.

ReplyDeleteYou probably mean a temporary certificate. If that's the case, you have to go to the Tesda District Office where you got your temporary certificate and have it replaced with a permanent one. You should call them first and ask them if they can give you the permanent one before you go there. Don't forget to bring your temporary certificate and the pictures required. Thanks.

Normally po if you had your NC exam from an accredited assessment center RECENTLY, wait three working days for you to submit your CARS to a courier that handles the processing of NC Certificate deliveries and they will tell you when you could expect to receive it. Question ko po is bakit po ang Agency ang magsasabi sa inyo na wala pa yung certificate ninyo? If I were you po, I would call or go to the assessment center where you had your exam and then follow-up po ninyo with them.

ReplyDeleteFive years po ang validity ng NC Certificate (have to verify if that's true for all NC), you can get your NC Certificate pa rin but you have to submit an Affidavit of Loss for your lost CARS. It would be best if you know when and where exactly kayo nag exam para madaling malocate yung records ninyo. Also, since near expiry na yung Certificate baka po pwedeng diretso renew niyo na po. ReplyDeleteYes, you can claim your NCII Certificate, you earned it and it is your right. I think five years is the validity of an NCII (not entirely sure) so make sure you get your NCII certificate before it expires. Please call TESDA to make sure. Thanks.

Maybe you could course it through your TESDA district office near you (it could take time or additional fee - I'm not sure. Better call Tesda for confirmation) or another option is you provide a Special Power of Attorney to a representative allowing him/her to process your certificate in Batangas.

Otherwise, you have to go to the TESDA district office where you had your exam. Better to call TESDA district office near you to verify. Did you provide a Special Power of Attorney to any person who might help you here in the Philippines to transact government businesses on your behalf? If yes, then that could be a way for you to renew your NC. You need to fill-in a form from TESDA to renew your NC. You can call TESDA directly or maybe write a letter to the Philippine Embassy to help you with that. I will also try asking TESDA about your situation. Will update you as soon as I have answers. If you think you will still be able to do what will be asked of you during the exam, then why not take the exam especially if you are already practicing what you've learned. It doesn't matter if you've paid or not during your training, what matters is the mastery of the skills (core competencies) that you can apply and show during the assessment exam.

ReplyDeleteReminder po, next time don't submit or give original copies of any certificate without any photocopy. If po kasi may photocopy kayo, you can ask Tesda to have it certified as true copy. You have to request your certificate again in Manila or maybe coordinate with Tesda district office in Iloilo to request it for you. Better call Tesda office near you.

The form is to be given to your representative. I suggest you provide your representative details like educational history, work experience, licenses/exams you've passed etc.
Better also to call the Tesda office that you will be renewing your NC for further information.

ReplyDeleteMarami pong qualification or course that falls under an NC2, depende po sa qualification/course kung anong mga requirements ang kailangan. Kahit hindi ka nag-aral sa Tesda you could get an NCII if you can establish that you have the experience. Example, if you didn't enroll sa Computer Hardware Servicing pero nag-work ka at na-train sa pinapasukan mong trabaho as a Computer Technician, you can apply to take the Computer Hardware Servicing NCII sa registered Assessment Center lamang nito.

ReplyDeleteIf you are confident that you can pass the assessment exam, you can apply to take it directly sa registered Assessment Center. Depende po kung anong NCII Assessment ang kukunin ninyo to determine kung saang Assessment Center pwedeng kunin ito. Please call Tesda to inquire about this. Example, di po sa lahat ng Assessment Center pwedeng magbigay ng Computer Hardware Servicing NCII Assessment Exam or Driving or Massage Therapy or Housekeeping or Caregiving... iba iba po ang facilities na kailangan dito.
DeleteI suggest you also communicate to your previous school of your intent to take the Assessment Exam. You need to establish that you had the training or you have the experience before you can take the assessment exam. This will also help in your documentation with your previous school, because technically di ka pa graduate if you hadn't taken your NC exam because that's a requirement for a school to submit your credentials and for Tesda to process your Special Order Number.

ReplyDeleteThere are certain questions that can be answered only if more information is given. Like, is the child enrolled in a school and the course enrolled in is registered under Tesda which requires an Assessment exam before one can graduate? If your answer is yes, then you have to talk to the child's school for further clarification on this.
DeleteAnd why won't the child take the exam? Just to let you know, based from what I know, even if the child trained in a course (attended the whole duration of the class) but did not take the Assessment required by certain course or an OJT for that matter, then technically the school will not be able to process the said student's Special Order Number, thus technically the student is not a graduate of the said course. What I'm saying is that there are certain qualifications or course that requires for the National Certification assessment exam.

ReplyDeleteNormally you can get your NC certificate from the district where you had your NC exam. DHL delivery of Tesda certificates was only implemented by those who have taken it mid of last year. You should call the Assessment Center or School were you had your exam for confirmation or you could call the Tesda District office where you had your NC for further information. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI was also a certified PC Operation NC II holder. Nevertheless, PC Operations NC II is not being offered by TESDA anymore, it is supposed to be incorporated in all Training Regulations. Therefore, the NC II exam for PC Operations no longer exist.

ReplyDeleteIf you didn't get the "CARS", how could you say you are an NCII holder? You may have had the institutional exam provided by the school. Please inquire via your school or call Tesda for the nearest registered Assessment Center for your qualification. NC II Certificate/Exam is different from the certificate/exam being provided by the school.

Hi! I'm Mr. ATienza po, kumuha po ako ng Assessment last October 20, 2014 sa TESDA sa Munisipyo ng Tanay Rizal po, But until now hindi pa din po nila binibigay ung Referal form para makuha ko po sa Taytay Rizal ung certificate ko, it's been 3 months na po. Lagi lang sinasabi ni Mr. Nep na balikan ko sa kanya pero every now and then pumunta po ako wala pa rin. Kumpleto naman po ako sa documents and payments.
ReplyDeleteAre you sir referring to the "CARS"? Did you get a "Competent" rating? It's your right to get hold of it after the assessment. I suggest you talk to "Mr Nep" to clarify things with him before you write a report to TESDA Pamamarisan.
DeleteIf your rating is "Not Yet Competent" then you can review and retake the exam. No certificate is issued for a "Not Yet Competent" rating.

I'm Mr. ATienza po, kumuha po ako ng Assessment last October 20, 2014 sa TESDA sa Munisipyo ng Tanay Rizal po, But until now hindi pa din po nila binibigay ung Referal form para makuha ko po sa Taytay Rizal ung certificate ko, it's been 3 months na po. Lagi lang sinasabi ni Mr. Nep na balikan ko sa kanya pero every now and then pumunta po ako wala pa rin. Kumpleto naman po ako sa documents and payments.

When did you take the exam? You may not need to ask your cousin if you had your exam last year or just recently. You just go to the nearest DHL that handles TESDA Certificate Deliveries. Or if this is not applicable in your area, you need to provide Special Power of Attorney to your cousin. See article above. Thanks.

DeleteIf it's the certificate, when I had mine it took me only a few hours to get it. If they don't have the paper they will provide a temporary certificate. By the way, when and where did you had your exam?
If it's the NCII Assessment Exam, the assessment center will need to schedule it.
Also, sometimes if there is something wrong with a particular batch of those who took the exam (it may be you or some other people who took the exam - wrong spelling, wrong picture, missing information in the application form, etc), then could be the cause of the delay. Patience. :)

ReplyDeleteYes, you can still get your NCII F&B, but note that the expiration will still be 5 years from when it was taken. Also, don't forget the steps as written above. DHL delivery of certificates is not yet implemented on the date you have taken your exam so you are to go to the QC Tesda district office (http://listof8.blogspot.com/2013/07/Go-To-TESDA-QuezonCity.html) to get your certificate.

DeleteAnswer 1: I would think you can renew it at any Tesda since it is supposed to be a "National" certificate. You can call Tesda to confirm.

ReplyDeleteMa'm since I have limited knowledge of what field you teach exactly in TLE, and knowledge on the implementing guidelines for the K to 12, I can't directly say that it's mandatory. BUT, if I were you ma'am, I would take an NC exam relevant to your field of expertise, or be trained and take the NC exam. It's an added credential and would help po dun sa transition to K to 12 .

Hindi po ba kayo na-brief during assessment kung saan po ninyo pwedeng makuha ang NC ninyo? I suggest po you call the assessment center kung saan po kayo nagpa-assess. Hindi po kasi ako sure kung ano ang process po in your location. Why not try din po to bring your "CARS" to a DHL or courier service provider that processes Tesda Cert (call Tesda near you). Yung DHL po ang nagbibigay ng tracking number, ang hinahanap lang po nila is the "CARS" kung saan nakalagay yung Reference Number po ninyo. Do check your "CARS" kasi dun po dapat nakalagay yun. Kung wala po better call or get in touch with the assessment center. Hope this helps. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteNC II means National Cerification Level II. It is a certification thus, if you passed an NC exam then you put it under Certification/Exam passed. If you attended and complete training and you have a certificate with SO number in it, then that is a TechVoc training. Your question is where do you put it in your resume... the answer depends on your educational background and your reason for taking the techvoc training. Also, if you are applying for a job and your techvoc training is very relevant to the job, wouldn't you highlight it?

ReplyDeleteYou need to verify kung saan nagkamali, if it's TESDA's fault you have to go to TESDA District Office where the Assessment Center is a member of and maybe you don't need to pay a fee. Call them first to verify if it's a typing error on their part.
DeleteHowever if it's the fault of the Assessment Center, you have to go to the Assessment Center and inform them of the error, they will need to resubmit ALL your documents and amend their records, it would take time because they will need to ask all the signatories to sign the documents again. Maybe you don't have to pay fees too since it's their error. Please call the assessment center to confirm. Now, if it's your fault - like for example your penmanship is not clear, or you did not correct the wrong spelling from the beginning given that they asked you to review it, or you totally didn't declare the correct spelling of your name - then you will be charged with a fee. I just don't know how much.

Una po di po automatic na darating sa school po ninyo ang Certificate kahit po nagbayad tayo and nagbigay ng pictures. Graduate po ako sa kursong HRM S/Y 2007 - 2009. May 3 naipasa na po akong NC 2 ang problema ko po ay 1 lang pong CARS meron ako yong 2 po ay wala pong ibinigay na copy yong assesor sa akin noon. Di ko naman po alam na kailangan po pala yon kasi hindi po ako na inform. At saka po napa bayaan ko na po 6 - 7 yrs. na hindi ma certificate yong nc2 ko po.. ano pong gagawin ko? May pag asa pa po ba akong ma claim yung nc2 certificate ko?
ReplyDeleteTechnically po if it's 6 to 7 years ago, expired na po yun and was due for renewal na dapat. Since di po ninyo ito nakuha you may need to undergo the NC exam again depende po kung ano yung mga ito. Marami pong nabago ngayon sa mga training regulations and karamihan po na nakapasa ng NC before, nirequire din po na mag-update kaya kumuha ulit ng exam. Since you did not identify the specific NC assessment you passed before I can't be more specific too. Please call TESDA specifically for this. Thanks.

DeleteJust indicate in your letter your circumstance. As long as you have complete requirements, and made use of your skills, you may be able to renew your NC. Unless, there is a new training regulation then you have to undergo the assessment under the new training regulation.
